1. Responsibility and scope

This policy explains how that information is used under Costa Rica's Law No. 8968 on the Protection of Individuals with Regard to the Processing of Personal Data and other applicable rules. For privacy questions, use the direct contact email on this page or the form and include “Privacy” in your message.
2. Information collected
The form requests your name, email address, and message. No account is needed, and this website does not process payments. Share only what is necessary for your inquiry; do not send passwords, bank details, identity documents, or sensitive information.
Netlify, which hosts the website and processes the form, may handle technical information such as IP addresses, browser details, and request logs to deliver the service and prevent abuse.
3. Purposes and legal grounds
Information is used to respond to inquiries, discuss workshops, collaborations, or projects, follow up on those conversations, and meet legal obligations. Sending an inquiry does not subscribe you to advertising.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, processing may be necessary to handle your request before an agreement, comply with legal obligations, or pursue legitimate communication and security interests while respecting your rights. Consent will be requested separately for any use that requires it.
4. Service providers and transfers
Messages are processed through Netlify Forms and may be handled through email providers to reply to you. These services may process information in other countries with different data protection rules. Transfers must meet the requirements and safeguards of applicable law.
Your information is not sold, rented, or shared for third-party advertising. It may be disclosed as necessary to provide these services, comply with legal obligations, or protect rights and website security.
5. Cookies and external services
The portfolio's current code does not include advertising analytics or tracking cookies. Hosting infrastructure may process technical information necessary for operation and security. External websites have their own policies; review their terms before providing information.
6. Retention and security
Contact information will be kept only as long as needed to handle the inquiry and any resulting relationship, or as required by law. When no longer necessary, it must be removed from working records and the services used, subject to their deletion and backup procedures.
Access to messages should be limited to those who need it to respond. No transmission or storage system is completely secure; avoid including sensitive information. Incidents will be addressed and reported where required by applicable law.
7. Your rights and requests
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, or portability of your information, object to processing or request restrictions, and withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. You may also complain to the competent data protection authority.
Write to the direct contact email on this page or use the form, include “Privacy” in your message, and describe your request. Include the email used for the original inquiry to help locate it, without attaching sensitive documents. Proportionate identity verification may be needed, and requests will be answered within the applicable legal timeframe. In Costa Rica, you may contact the Agency for the Protection of Inhabitants' Data (PRODHAB).
8. Children and photographs
Inquiries about activities for children must be sent by a responsible adult. Do not send unnecessary personal information about children. If you believe information was received without the necessary authorization, request its review and deletion through this form.
If you appear in a portfolio photograph and want to ask about its publication or request removal, identify the gallery and image in your message. You do not need to provide other people's information.
9. Updates and contact
This policy will be updated if the website or its information practices change. The revision date appears above. You can write to the direct contact email to ask for clarification before sharing further information.
